ANDOVER, Mass. – Mercury Systems Inc. of Andover, Mass., introduces the SOSA-aligned, DAL-certified OpenVPX 3U Mission Computer for Avionics Modular Mission Platform (AMMP) for fixed-wing aircraft, helicopters, ground stations and unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs).
The 3U VPX AMMP adheres to the open systems Sensor Open Systems Architecture (SOSA) embedded computing standard and is security certifiable to Design Assurance Levels (DAL).
Featuring the latest safety-certified Intel Core i7 processors, the AMMP delivers up to 40 times the performance of current generation avionics while consuming 50% less power.
Mercury’s modular and scalable Mission Computer uses artificial intelligence (AI) and machine automation to help improve decision accuracy and response times for aircraft pilots.
