YEREVAN, FEBRUARY 24, ARMENPRESS. Ukraine has closed its airspace to civilian aircraft due to possible risks, NOTAM reported.

Early Thursday morning, Russian President Vladimir Putin authorized a military operation in Donbass.

Russian President Vladimir Putin said he took the decision to organize a special military operation in response to the speech by the leaders of the Donbas republics.

“The People’s Republics of Donbass approached Russia with a request for help. In this regard, I took the decision to organize a special military operation. Its objective is to protect people who are victims of abuse, genocide by the Kiev regime for eight years, and to this end we will seek to demilitarize and denazify Ukraine and bring to justice those who have committed many bloody crimes against peaceful people, including Russian nationals,” Putin said in his televised address.

Justice and truth are on Russia’s side, President Vladimir Putin said in a special televised address.

“The well-being, the very existence of entire countries and peoples, their success and health always come from the strong root system of the culture and values, experience and traditions of the ancestors, directly depending on the abilities to quickly adapt to a constantly changing life, the consolidation of society, its desire to consolidate and gather all forces to move forward,” Putin said.

“Forces are always needed but they can be of different quality,” the Russian leader said. “And we know that real strength lies in justice and truth on our side,” he added.
